The Trust for Sustainable Forestry
The Trust for Sustainable Forestry was founded by a group of individuals passionate about the forest and the values it bestows on us and the world in which we live. From modest beginnings on Cortes Island, British Columbia the Trust has grown from contributions and support from universities, companies, NGOs and individuals who believe in its Vision.

Bluewater Technologies Corporation
Bluewater was founded on the Vision that through the recovery of submerged tropical timber it would be possible to offset the terrestrial deforestation currently occurring in the tropical rainforests across the globe. It would also be possible to employ and build capacity within the local people and communities in the areas where Bluewater operates. It is paramount that Bluewater employs technology which maintains and fosters the integrity of the environment in which it operates.

The Canadian Institute of Forestry
The Canadian Institute of Forestry has been the national voice of forest practitioners since 1908. Its mission is to advance the stewardship of Canada's forest resources, provide national leadership in forestry, promote competence among forestry professionals, and foster public awareness of Canadian and international forestry issues.

The Land Conservancy
Commonly known as TLC, The Land Conservancy is a non-profit, charitable land trust working throughout British Columbia. TLC protects important habitat for plants, animals and natural communities as well as properties with historical, cultural, scientific, scenic or compatible recreational value.

Level Ground Trading
Level Ground Trading Ltd. was started in 1997 in response to trade inequity and a lack of communication between producers in developing countries and North American consumers. Centre for Non-Timber Resources - Royal Roads University
The Centre for Non-Timber Resources at Royal Roads University is an applied research and development centre dedicated to promoting the sustainable use of non-timber forest resources.

The Forestry Stewardship Council of Canada
The FSC is an international, membership-based, non-profit organization that supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests. The FSC was the first forest certification program to emerge and it provides standard setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services for companies, organizations and individuals.

The Ecoforestry Institute Society is dedicated to promoting ecologically, socially and economically responsible forest use that maintains and restores the complexity and diversity of our forests. Ecoforestry is adaptable to the inclusion of ecological, cultural, heritage, scenic, recreational, wildlife and fisheries objectives within the value set identified for mitigation or maintenance.

David Suzuki Foundation
Since 1990, the David Suzuki Foundation has worked to find ways for society to live in balance with the natural world that sustains us. The Nature Conservancy of Canada
